Job Summary:
A Concrete Batcher manages the automated, computer-controlled production of concrete, ensuring accurate mixing of raw materials (cement, aggregate, water, admixtures) according to specifications. They manage plant logistics to maintain operational efficiency, monitor cementitious material inventory, and generate delivery tickets for outgoing trucks.

Job Summary:
A concrete truck dispatcher manages the scheduling, routing, and logistics of ready-mix concrete deliveries, acting as the central communication hub between customers, drivers, and plant personnel. Key duties include optimizing delivery routes, monitoring truck locations, and ensuring on-time delivery.

Job Summary:

Gotham Ready Mix, LLC is seeking a diesel mechanic to repair and maintain diesel engine commercial trucks. Individuals must have electrical troubleshooting skills and strong computerized electrical system diagnostic capabilities.

Essential Functions and Basic Responsibilities:

  • Basic trouble shooting for ready-mix trucks, dump trucks and tankers.
  • Respond to on-site breakdowns and perform emergency repairs.
  • Follow all site safety procedures, OSHA regulations, and lockout/tagout protocols.
  • Identify and report unsafe equipment conditions or hazards.
  • Use personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times on the concrete site.
  • Ensure repairs meet manufacturer specifications and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance and repair records.
  • Complete inspection checklists and service reports.
  • Track parts usage and communicate material needs.
  • Use diagnostic software, hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment.
  • Read and interpret service manuals, schematics, and technical drawings.
  • Potential suspension work and hydraulic systems.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Diesel Engine, Truck & Heavy Equipment Mechanics: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Diesel engine repair: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Mechanical knowledge: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Valid Driver’s License (CDL Preferably)
  • Knowledge working on Ready Mix Trucks (Preferably)
  • Must have own tools
  • Must be able to read and comprehend service and repair manuals
  • Must be able to perform preventive maintenance and repairs such as brakes, air systems, air condition repairs etc
  • English (Preferred)

Job Summary:

The Laborer supports concrete manufacturing operations by performing a variety of tasks related to site maintenance, material handling, and equipment cleaning. This role plays a key part in ensuring the plant and yard remain clean, safe, and efficient.

 

Essential Functions and Basic Responsibilities:

  • Follow all company safety procedures and protocols.
  • Clean the ready-mix plant at the end of each day.
  • Perform general cleanup duties in the plant and yard, including shoveling, sweeping, and debris removal.
  • Complete all required documentation and reports accurately and on time

Job Summary:
Gotham Ready Mix, LLC is seeking a Quality Control Technician to join our operations team. The Quality Control Technician is responsible for performing inspections and tests on concrete to ensure mix is to standards.

 

Essential Functions and Basic Responsibilities:

  • Ensure quality throughout the entire process of producing ready mix concrete to include raw materials, mix designs and finished products.
  • Interact regularly with customers, sales representatives, operation and production employees, vendors and engineers.
  • Oversee quality control of concrete on job sites.
  • Maintain records and write reports regarding job site issues and product problems.
  • Assist in ensuring that job mix formulas are incorporated into mixing plant operations consistent with central laboratory design.
  • Compile and report final summaries of testing results from completed projects.
  • Interact professionally and promptly with customers to ensure their concrete needs are met.
  • Follow all safety protocols including required PPE when at sites or handling concrete/chemicals.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:

  • A.C.I. Field Technician Grade 1
  • MoDOT certified

Job Summary:
Gotham Ready Mix, LLC is seeking a skilled Welder to join our operations team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for various welding jobs on both our ready-mix trucks and concrete plants. The Welder candidate should have good techniques to ensure structural integrity, precision and safety in each project. 

 

Essential Functions and Basic Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with team members and management to complete projects.
  • Perform routine maintenance on welding equipment and tools.
  • Follow safety procedures including wearing the appropriate PPE.
  • Operate cutting, grinding and other fabrication tools as needed.
  • Inspect work for accuracy and strength.
  • Travel amongst different site locations in NYC area as needed.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Must be able to provide welding certifications.
  • Proven experience as a welder in manufacturing or construction.
  • Proficiency in MIG, TIG and stick welding.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods.
  • Knowledge of safety standards and practices in welding.

Education and Experience:

  • Certification from a technical school or welding program.
  • Mechanical knowledge is a plus.
